13 May 1977, Queen performed @ Congresscentrum in Hamburg, Germany 🇩🇪 “A Day At The Races Tour”

A review of the show from Record Mirror states that Freddie sang “Perfume came naturally from Hamburg” in the second verse of ‘Killer Queen.’He would make this amendment to the song in many cities in the coming month.

In the second encore, ‘Big Spender’ has been replaced with a Bo Diddley blues tune called “I’m A Man” for the time being. It is possible that the band debuted the number last night in Copenhagen.

The members of Slade attended the show.

This show is mentioned in the classic article, “Is This Man A Prat” an interview by Tony Stewart from 18 June 1977 – New Musical Express
