June 1974, Arlette House, 143 Wardour Street, Soho, London, UK
Classic photos of Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor and John Deacon at the Arlette House building in London. At the time the band was recording ‘Sheer Heart Attack’ at Trident Studios located at 17 St Anne’s Court, around the corner Marquee Club at 90 Wardour Street.
These lovely photos are from Queen’s session with the Japanese magazine ‘Music Life,’ they were being interviewed. Brian May was battling health issues at the time and that’s why he is missing from the pictures. Once Brian recovered, he was able to join the boys and finish recording their third album, ‘Sheer Heart Attack’
The author of Queen’s photos on the street is photographer Watal Asanuma.
